Happy Thanksgiving 2017

What I will be most thankful for, always and forever:

Running into Dr. Plance just after I was diagnosed, at the same time that he was in need of a project. That was over 10 years ago. That is the only moment of my life that really mattered.

August, 2017. Hugs upon my return from Paris. He could not believe how well I did on my long trip. Better than I ever imagined! Neither of us never ever believed I could be so high-functioning.

A perscription pad and imagination, and me.

Jumping for joy, near the end of my time in Paris.

Later that day I waited in line over four hours to tour the catacombs (totally worth it!), then sprinted (I love to run!) across town to make my manicure appointment, had a late lunch of wine and foie gras (couldn't get enough!), and then found my way back to my room on the Metro.

Paris is heaven.

Inside the catacombs. Wow. I was very moved and totally freaked out, as I was down there alone.

The cemeteries of Paris had to be moved underground. Why?

They were overly full and contaminating the city.

Mani.

That was on my bucket list.

That was on my bucket list.

Foie gras and French wine. The feeding does not hurt the geese, plus they are living the life. I would like to do nothing but eat all day, too. But if you do, you end up with fatty liver disease, which is foie gras.

I ate it every chance I could.

I miss Paris.

Keep in mind, the daily C shots were not a complete solution. They gave me energy, the ability to build muscle, the ability to repair, sleep and heal, and also endurance and a boost of mental clarity. Because of them I could benefit from exercise and make the most of the structurally unsound collagen that I manufacture.

I have done tons and tons of physical rehabilitation, by which I mean EXERCISE! I continue to explore exercise and human movement and motion.

Note my excellent posture. Excellent posture is crucial for mitigating joint strain for anyone, but especially if you are very, very flexible, like me. Joints must be located in the healthiest alignments you can find to prevent damage and pain.

Healing took time. It was constant, steady progress. I have not yet stopped getting better.

It is good to be alive.
